(LCM of 90 and 70) Amount of work done by Amit and BK together in one day = 630/90 = 7 units Amount of work done by BK and Chiku together in one day = 630/70 = 9 units Difference between the efficiencies of Amit and Chiku = 9 – 7 = 2 units Amount of work done by Chiku alone in one day = 2/0.40 = 5 units Amount of work done by Amit alone in one day = 0.6 × 5 = 3 units Time taken by Amit alone to complete 80% work = 0.8 × (630/3) = 168 days
