    respectively. A started the work alone and after 4 days B also joined and continued till the work was completed. For how many days did B do the work?

    Solution

    Let the work be completed in x days. According to the question- X/16+x-4/18 =1 18x+16x-64 = 16×18 34x=352 X=352/34 =10.35 Work of B = x-4 =10.35-4 =6.35 days
