    Solution

    D₁ = (40-16) = 24                     D2=(46-40) =6         Let the M1=x and M2=x-4 M₁D₁ = M2 D2 X × 24 = (20-x) ×6 4x=20-x 5x=20 x=4 Hence, after 16 days 4 workers left work.
