    Solution

    Time taken by 'A' to finish the entire work alone = 25 ÷ 1.25 = 20 days And time taken by 'B' to finish the entire work alone = 18 ÷ 0.6 = 30 days Let the total work be 60 units. {LCM (20 and 30)} So, efficiency of 'A' = 60 ÷ 20 = 3 units/day And efficiency of 'B' = 60 ÷ 30 = 2 units/day So, required time = {60/(3 + 2)} = 12 days
