    ATQ,

    Speed of the train = x m/s

    Length of the train = y m

    x = (y + 500)/22 ---- (1)

    x + 8 = y/7

    7x + 56 = y ---- (2)

    Substitute (2) in (1)

    x = (7x + 56 + 500)/22

    22x = 7x + 556

    x = 37


    Speed of the train = 37 m/s
