    Six people are sitting in two parallel rows with 3

    people each, in such a way that there is equal distance between adjacent persons. PY, OY and TY are seated in the same row facing South. AX, EX and RX are seated in the same row facing North. EX sits at the extreme right end of their row and is exactly opposite TY. AX sits at the extreme left end of their row and is exactly opposite OY. (Persons facing south are exactly opposite to persons facing north). Who sits at the centre of the row of people facing South?

    Solution

     EX sits at the extreme right end of their row and is exactly opposite to TY.  AX sits at the extreme left end of their row and is exactly opposite to OY.  Thus, PY must be sitting between OY and TY in their row. RX must be between AX and EX, exactly opposite to PY. Final arrangement is shown below: From the above arrangement, it is clear that PY is sitting in the middle and facing South. Hence, the correct answer is (D).
