    Solution

     GX and IX are at the extreme ends, so two cases arise as shown below.  HX is to the immediate right of GX and LX is third to the left of IX. Since there is no place for HX to the right of GX, Case-1 won’t be possible.  KX is the neighbor of LX and JX. Final arrangement is as shown below. From above, it is clear that HX is sitting second to the left of KX. Hence, the correct answer is (D).
