    Let the radius of the circular field = 'r' metres Then, circumference of the field = 2 X π X r = 2 X (22/7) X r Or, (44r/7) = 264 So, r = (264 X 7) ÷ 44 = 42 So, area of the field = π X r2 = (22/7) X 422 = 5544 cm2
