southwards reached point B, turned right and cycled 8 km to point C and turned right and cycled 15 km to reach point D and finally turned left and cycled 18 km to reach point E. How many kilometers will she have to cycle to reach her home straight?Solution
Home is the starting point which is named as A. She covered 15 km from A to B = 15 km southwards. Then she turns and walked 8 Km from B to C. Again She turns right and walked 15 Km from C to D and then turns left and walked 18 Km from D to E. 
Required distance = 18 + 8 = 26 km.
