Question

In these questions, relationships between different elements are shown in the statements. These statements are followed by two conclusions. Give answer

    Statements: P ≥ Q > R, U ≤ T ≤ S = R, X ≤ W ≤ V = U

    Conclusion:

    I. R ≥ W

    II. W = U

A if only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B if only conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C if either conclusion I or conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D if neither conclusion I nor conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E if both conclusions I and II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Given statement: P ≥ Q > R, U ≤ T ≤ S = R, X ≤ W ≤ V = U Combined statement: P ≥ Q > R = S ≥ T ≥ U = V ≥ W ≥ X For conclusion I - R ≥ W, it follows.  For conclusion II - W = U, it doesn’t follows as U ≥ W, so we are not sure it can be U > W and U = W.
