    Each of the questions below consists of a question and two statements numbered I and II are given below. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question. Read both the statements and  Give Answer. 

    What is Miti’s rank in the class? Statement I:

    Miti’s rank from the bottom is 39th and there are 50 students in her class. Statement II:  Miti’s best friend has got 9th rank.
    A if the data in Statement I alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement II alone are not sufficient to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    From (i), Miti’s rank = (Total students - Rank from the bottom + 1) = 50 – 39 + 1 = 12. From(ii), we can’t get the Miti’s rank in the class.
