    What is Miti’s rank in the class? Statement I:

    Miti’s rank from the bottom is 39th and there are 50 students in her class. Statement II:  Miti’s best friend has got 9th rank.
    A if the data in Statement I alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement II alone are not sufficient to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    From (i), Miti’s rank = (Total students - Rank from the bottom + 1) = 50 – 39 + 1 = 12. From(ii), we can’t get the Miti’s rank in the class.
