    What is Didu’s rank in the class?

    Statement I:          Didu’s rank from the bottom is 49th and there are 50 students in her class

    Statement II:         Didu’s best friend has got 3rd rank.

    Solution

    From (i), Didu’s rank = (Total students - Rank from the bottom + 1) = 50 – 49 + 1 = 2. From(ii), we can’t get the Didu’s rank in the class.
