C Data given in either statement I or statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Data given in both statement I and statement II together are sufficient to answer the question. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

“third conviction past’ is coded as “bns, los, rvd” …… (i) “conviction three months” is coded as “los, mna asm”…….. (ii) From I. “gangster past turned Politician” is coded as “wsx, rvd, anr, qmf” ……… (iii) From (i) and (iii), we will get the code for ‘past’ is ‘rvd’. From (i) and (ii), we will get the code for ‘conviction’ is ‘los’. Now, it is clear that code for ‘third’ is ‘bns’. From II. “slapped monetary turned third” is coded as “bns, mny, bdx, anr” …….. (iv) From (i) and (iv), we will get the code for ‘third’ is ‘bns’. Hence the data given in either statement I or statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question.
