Question
How many floors are between F and K?
Study the following information carefully and answer the below questions Nine persons- E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, and M are living in the nine-floored building such that the lowermost floor is numbered as one and the floor just above the lowermost floor is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered as nine. All the information is not necessarily in the same order. G lives on the fifth floor. L lives below G but does not live on the odd number floor. Only one person lives between L and F. H lives two floors above F. Four floors are between H and M. The number of floors above M is the same as the number of floors below J. E lives one of the floor above K who does not live below I. I and F are not live on the adjacent floor.Solution
We have, G lives on the fifth floor. L lives below G but does not live on the odd number floor. Only one person lives between L and F. From the above condition, there are three possibilities. Again we have, E lives on one of the floors above K who does not live below I. I and F are not live on the adjacent floor. From the above condition, case2 gets eliminated. Case1 shows the final arrangement.
Statements: B > D = H > G < J ≤ K > L < I
Conclusion
I: B ≥ G
II: K > G
