Question

Answer the questions based on the information given below. There are six poles i.e. R, S, T, I, V and W of different heights. S is taller than R. V is taller than S. V is shorter than only T. W is taller than S. R is not the shortest pole. The length of second tallest pole is 52m and third shortest pole is 45m.

What may be the possible height of pole

    W?
A 42m Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 53m Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 48m Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 39m Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E 66m Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

S is taller than R. V is taller than S. V is shorter than only T. So, Pole T is the tallest pole. W is taller than S. R is not the shortest pole which means pole I is the shortest pole. The final arrangement is as follows: T > V(52m) > W > S(45m) > R > I The height of pole V and S is 52 and 45m respectively so, the height of pole W is lie between 52m to 45m.
