which of the following place in the circular arrangement?  Read the given information carefully and answer the given questions. Eight friends A, R, S, J, K, M, L and P are sitting in two circles in such a manner that each member of the inner circle sits exactly opposite to the member of the outer circle. Also they all are sitting in a straight line facing in both directions. The members sitting in the outer circle are K, M, L and P and all of them are facing towards the centre while the members of the inner circle are A, R, S and J and they are facing away from the centre. Each of them likes different drink i.e. Fanta, Pepsi, Sprite, Maaza, Limca, Mirinda, Thumsup and Coca cola, but not necessarily in the same order. Members sit in the outer circle likes same drink in the row arrangement where as members sit in the inner circle likes different drink in the row arrangement.                      L sits second to the left of P in the circular arrangement. The person who likes Thumsup faces the person who likes Fanta in the circular arrangement. The Person who sits opposite to S in the same circle faces opposite direction to that person, who likes Pepsi in the row arrangement. J sits fourth to the left of the person, who likes Thumsup in the row arrangement. A, who likes Maaza, faces the immediate neighbours of the person, who likes Sprite in the circular arrangement. The person faces A in the circular arrangement sits second to the right of L in the row arrangement. The persons who like Limca and Fanta are in separate circles. The person sits immediate right of R in the circular arrangement does not sit at extreme ends in the row. The person, who sits second to the left of the person, who likes Mirinda in the circular arrangement, sits fifth to the left of J in the row arrangement. M who does not like Sprite, does not face A in the circular arrangement. The person who likes Mirinda sits on the immediate left of P in the circular arrangement. The drink liked by A in the circular arrangement is liked by the person, who sits fourth to the left of R in the row arrangement. J does not like Pepsi in the row arrangement. The Person who sits second to the left of J faces south direction in the row arrangement. The Person who likes Pepsi sits third to the left of the person, who likes Limca in the row arrangement. The persons who like Mirinda and Coca cola are immediate neighbours in circular arrangement, and one of them faces R, who likes Pepsi in the circular arrangement. Person sits at extreme ends faces opposite directions also K and P face opposite directions in the row arrangement. R sits immediate right of the person, who likes Sprite in the row arrangement. The persons who like Thumsup and Maaza sit in the same circle but they are not immediate neighbours. The person who sits opposite to J in the other circle in the circular arrangement sits at one of the extreme ends in the row arrangement. J likes neither Pepsi nor Limca and faces L, who likes neither Coca cola nor Mirinda in circular arrangement. ÂSolution
First read all the conditions which are given in the question. Then start with circular arrangement from the given conditions. After that carry only that conditions which is related to circular arrangement and try to complete circular arrangement. After completing circular arrangement from the given conditions, you should try to start linear arrangement and follow given conditions. Then you will see there are more possibilities that can be drawn for the linear arrangement, but if you will follow conditions carefully then most possibilities will neglect one by one except one. That will be our final linear arrangement. At last you will see only one linear arrangement and one circular arrangement which will follow all the given conditions.Â
