    Solution

    As per the given conditions, seven persons are sitting in a linear arrangement, facing the North.  D sits at one of the extreme ends.  G sits to the immediate right of D, which means D sits at the extreme left end.  C sits at the center of the row.  Since only two persons sit to the left of A, and only three sit between A and E, this means A must be sitting between G and C while E must be sitting at the extreme right end.  Since B is not an immediate neighbor of C, B must be at the second last place from the right end.  So, F will be seated at the remaining vacant place. Final arrangement is shown below: From the above arrangement, it is clear that F is at the 3rd position from the right end. Hence, the correct answer is (C).
