You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the four given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.

    Statements: All car are bus. Some bus

    are truck. Some truck are train. Some train are bike. Conclusions: I. Some train are bus II. Some car are train. III. Some truck are car. IV. All bus are car.

    Solution

    Some bus are truck(I) + Some truck are train(I) ⇒ No conclusion. Hence conclusion I does not follow. All car are bus(A) + Some bus are truck(I) ⇒ No conclusion. Hence conclusion II and III does not follow. All car are bus(A) ⇒ Conversion ⇒   Some bus are car(I). Hence conclusion IV does not follow.
