Question

In the question below there are three statements followed by some conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts.

    Statements:

Only a few triangle is circle

    All circles are squares

Only a few square is rectangle

    Conclusions:

    I. Mostly circle can be rectangle

II. All triangles can never be square

A Only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Both conclusion I and conclusion II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Neither conclusion I nor conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Only conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

All circle is square (A) + Some square are rectangle (I) → Probable Conclusion → All circle can be rectangle (A). Hence conclusion I follows. Some triangles are circles (I) + All circle is square (A) → Some triangles are squares (I). Hence conclusion II does not follow.
