Statements: All Bottles are Glasses. All

Glasses are Bowls. Some Cups are Bowls. Conclusions: I. Some Cups are Glasses. II. All Bottles are Bowls. III. Some Bottles are not Cups.
A Only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Only conclusions I and II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Only conclusions II and III follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Only conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E All the conclusions follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

All Glasses are Bowls (A) + [Some Cups are Bowls (I) → Conversion] → Some Bowls are Cups (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion I does not follow. All Bottles are Glasses (A) + All Glasses are Bowls (A) → All Bottles are Bowls (A). Hence conclusion II follows. All Bottles are Glasses (A) + All Glasses are Bowls (A) → All Bottles are Bowls (A) + [Some Cups are Bowls (I) → Conversion] → Some Bowls are Cups (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion III does not follow.
