    In the question below some statements are given

    followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusion definitely follows from the given statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Statements: All Minerals are Vitamins Some Vitamins are Deficient  No Iron are Deficient Conclusions: I. Some Iron are Minerals II. Some Vitamins are not Iron 
    A Only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B Either conclusion I or conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C Only Conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D Neither conclusion I nor conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    All Minerals are Vitamins (A) + Some Vitamins are Deficient (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion I does not follow. Some Vitamins are Deficient (I) + [No Iron are Deficient (E) → Conversion] → No Deficient are Iron (E) → Some Vitamins are not Iron (O). Hence conclusion II follows.
