You have to take the four given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

Statements: Only today is tomorrow. All

yesterday is night. No today is night. Mostly today is day. Conclusions: I. Some night being day is a possibility. II. Some today is not yesterday. III. Some day is yesterday.
A Only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Either conclusion I or II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Only conclusion III follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Both conclusion I and conclusion II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of the above Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

No today is night (E) → Conversion → No night is today (E) + Mostly today is day (I) → Some day is not night (O*) → Probable conclusion → Some night may be day (I). Hence conclusion I follows. All yesterday is night (A) + [No today is night (E) → Conversion] → No night is today (E) → No yesterday is today (E) → Conversion → Some today is not yesterday (O). Hence conclusion II follows. Mostly today is day (I) → Conversion → Some day is today (I) + Some today is not yesterday (O) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion III does not follow.
