You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts.

Statements: Some year are month. Each year

is day. No day is week. Conclusions: I. No year is week. II. Some day are month. III. All month are day.
A Both conclusion I and conclusion II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Neither conclusion I nor conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Both conclusion I and conclusion III follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E All the conclusion I, II and III follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Each year is day (A) + No day is week (E) → No year is week (E). Hence conclusion I follows.

Some year are month (I) → Conversion → Some month are year (I) + Each year is day (A) → Some month are day (I) → Conversion → Some day are month (I). Hence conclusion II follows but conclusion III does not follow.
