    mugs are tubs. All tubs are plastics. No plastics is a white. Conclusion: Some plastics are buckets. Some whites may be tubs. Some whites are mugs. Some plastics may not be tubs.

    Solution

    I + I =No conclusion. Hence, conclusion I will not follow. All tubs are plastics (A) + No plastic is a white (E) → No tub is a white (E) → Conversion → Some whites are not tubs (O) → Probable conclusion → Some whites may be tubs (I). Hence, conclusion II follows. Some mugs are tubs (I) + All tubs are plastics (A) → Some mugs are plastic (I) + No plastic is a white (E) → Some mugs are not whites (O).Hence, conclusion III will not follow. All tubs are plastics (A) →Conversion → Some plastics are tubes (I) → Probable conclusion → Some plastics may not be tubs (O). Hence, conclusion IV follow.
