The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the revised official notification for the IBPS RRB 2021 exam on June 10, 2021. The notification was earlier released on June 7, 2021. As per the revised IBPS RRB notification released on June 18, 2021, a total of 12,958 vacancies have been announced for Officer Scales I, II, III and Office Assistant posts as against 11,687 vacancies mentioned previously.

The notification outlines the Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). 

IBPS RRB Clerk (Office Assistant) Admit Card Out !!

The IBPS RRB Clerk (Office Assistant) Admit Cards are now available to be downloaded. Candidates who had filled the application form successfully can download their call letters between July 22 and August 14, 2021. While the window may be quite wide, don’t leave this for another day. So, drop everything and download your admit cards NOW!!

The Prelim exams are scheduled to be held on August 8 and 14, 2021.

IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale 1) Admit Card

The IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale 1) Admit Cards have been released on July 17, 2021. Candidates can download their Call Letters between July 17 and August 7, 2021. Registered candidates can log in using their Roll no./ Registration no. and Password/D.O.B to download the Admit Cards. Download your call letter NOW!!

The preliminary examinations for IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale-I) are scheduled to be held on August 1 and 7, 2021.

IBPS RRB 2021 Eligibility

IBPS has laid out the Citizenship/Nationality criteria to determine the eligibility of candidates who aim to appear for the IBPS RRB Exam. Besides being a citizen of India, there are some other details laid down to determine eligibility. 

IBPS RRB 2021 Age Criteria

The crucial date for determining eligibility is June 1, 2021. As of this day, the candidates should be within age criteria. 

Post Age Criteria
Office AssistantCandidates should be between 18 years and 30 years.
Scale I Officer Candidates should be between 18 years and 30 years.
Scale II OfficerCandidates should be between 21 years and 32 years.
Scale III OfficerCandidates should be between 21 years and 40 years.

There are age relaxations offered for reserved categories.  

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification

All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 28.06.2021. You must study the detailed educational qualifications for all the posts, namely Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III, before applying for any post to ensure you’re eligible. 

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB 2021 Exam will be conducted in three phases:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Interview

Office Assistant and Officer Scale I

The exam pattern for IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Officer Scale I is the same. No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination. However, interviews will be conducted for candidates appearing for Officer Scales I, II & III examinations.

Preliminary Exam: There will be a total of 80 questions carrying one mark each. The time given will be 45 minutes.

Candidates must take note that there will be a negative marking for all – preliminary, main and single- levels of examinations. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left unanswered there will be no negative marking for that question.

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for IBPS RRB 2021 is almost the same for IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer. Apart from the below-mentioned sections, an additional section of the professional knowledge section is asked for the Specialist Officer Grade-II.

IBPS RRB 2021 Apply Online

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in the officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. It is advised that the candidates keep a valid and active email id and contact no. throughout the IBPS RRB 2021 Recruitment Process to receive all the updates related to it. To apply, first, you will have to register yourself on the link given below. Once you have registered successfully, you can log in and fill the application form. 

Registration 

  1. To apply, begin first to go to the IBPS official website and select the option to apply.
  2. Click on the Apply link given on the page. A registration link will open up in the new window.
  3. Click on New Registration in the application window.
  4. Provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc.
  5. Click on the submit button to the completed online registration form of IBPS RRB.
  6. After the Registration, a Registration ID and a password will be sent to your mobile no. and email id.

Login

  1. Login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for IBPS RRB 2021.
  2. Upload your photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned below.
  3. Upload scanned image of passport size photo and signature.
    Size of Photograph: 200 x 230 pixels
    Size of Signature: 140 x 60 pixels.
  4. After uploading the photograph and signature the candidates will be required to verify the details. Preview and verify the application form carefully.
  5. Lastly, pay the required application fee online.
