NABARD Grade A 2020 Selection Procedure

THE NABARD Grade A 2020 exam is going to be held in three Phases:

Phase 1 – NABARD Grade A Preliminary Examination

Phase 2 – NABARD Grade A Mains Examination

Phase 3 – NABARD Grade A Interview

NABARD Grade A Phase 1 Exam Pattern:

According to the NABARD Grade A exam pattern, the first Phase of the NABARD Grade A 2020 exam is going to be of a total duration of two hours. A total of five sections will be asked in the Phase 1 exam of NABARD Grade A 2020 exam i.e. Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development. The examination pattern of the NABARD Grade A 2020 Phase 1 exam is given as follows:

NABARD Grade A Phase 2 Exam Pattern:

Phase 2 of the NABARD Grade A 2020 exam will be an MCQ based as well as Descriptive based paper. Paper 1 will be going to be consist of General English paper in which the candidates will be judged on their English writing skills whereas Paper 2 of NABARD Grade A Phase 2 exam is an objective type paper consisting of 100 marks. NABARD Grade A Phase 3 Exam Pattern – Interview

The third phase of NABARD Grade A 2020 exam will be the Interview phase consisting of a total of 25 marks. Candidates who will qualify the Phase 2 exam will be called out for the Interview. The candidates that score sufficiently high in merit only will be invited for the interview. Please note that the marks of Phase 1 exam will not be considered in making the final merit list of the exam, only Phase 2 will be taken into consideration.

NABARD GRADE A 2020 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the exam, it is necessary to check the eligibility criteria so that any confusion related to that can be avoided. Following are some of the eligibility criteria that need to be met before applying for NABARD Grade-A 2020 exam.

Educational Qualification:

Before applying for the examination, a candidate must ensure his/her eligibility in the form of educational qualification which are required for the respective post. NABARD has released notification for various posts under Grade A. For General post, essential qualification is provided below.

  General   Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Ph.D. OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor’s degree OR Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

For Educational Qualification of the rest of the posts, a bachelor’s degree is required in the respective field.

Age Criteria (As on January 01, 2020)

A candidate must be in between an age limit of minimum 21 years and a maximum of 30 years (a candidate must not be born earlier than January 02, 1990 and must not be born later than January 01, 1999.  Furthermore, the candidates who belong to certain categories (Reserved) are given an upper age relaxation. NABARD GRADE A 2020 Salary

Salary is one of the main factors why candidates prefer to join any organization. Apart from excellent work culture, NABARD Grade A offers a handsome salary to its employees. A newly appointed Grade A officer will get a gross salary of around 62,600 rupees. NABARD Grade A officer receives a basic salary of Rs. 28,150 pm/- in the scale of 28150-1550(4) -34350-1750(7) – 46600 –EB – 1750(4) – 53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. NABARD Grade A officer will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance.

  • Look for the ‘Apply Online’ link in the ‘nabard.org/career’ section.
  • Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ tab and fill all the required details such as full name, email ID and Mobile Number.
  • A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system.
  • Upload the documents (Photo, Signature and handwritten declaration) taking care of the specifications.
  • Validate the details by selecting ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button after filling all the required details asked in the application form.
  • Before clicking on the Submit button, verify the details one last time, you can do it by clicking on the preview button.
  • After submitting the application from, it is time to pay the application fee.

A candidate belonging to unreserved category needs to pay a total amount of rupees 800 whereas candidates those who belong to reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD) need to pay a total amount of rupees 150. It is to be noted that the application fee submission can be done through online mode only. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the application form after submission of the application fee for further use.
