Transfer Policy for a SEBI Grade A Officer

There is only one major transfer policy for SEBI Employees and that is, the SEBI is operated from it’s headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. So majorly most of the selected candidates get posted in the SEBI Head office i.e., Mumbai.

However, there are four regional offices of SEBI across the country. The regions are divided among the directions and one location from each direction has one regional office of SEBI. The regions are: North, South, West and East. So based on the stream you have applied for and the requirement by these regions, chances are you will be posted at either of the SEBI’s regional offices.

The bottom line is, you will get posted to the location that has SEBI office. The fact is SEBI only has 4 regional offices apart from the headquarter in Mumbai, therefore, there are very less chances of you getting posted near your home or any other preferred location.
