SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL exam is going to be held in three tiers (wherever applicable). In order to go ahead with the selection process, you need to qualify for each tier of the exam.
- Tier 1: Objective Type Computer Based Examination
- Tier 2: Descriptive Paper (Pen and paper mode)

- The paper will comprise 100 questions for 200 marks.
- For the visually handicapped/OH (afflicted by cerebral palsy and OH with deformity in the writing hand), the time duration would be 80 minutes.
- The SSC CHSL exam will be bilingual in nature, i.e., you can attempt the exam in both Hindi and English except for the English Language section, which can be attempted in English only.
- ¼ or 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer marked.
